Limestone Patio with Accessible Ramp, Newbury
After having successfully completed a driveway project for our returning clients, Ian and Jane, we were delighted to be invited back to transform the rear of their property in Newbury. Having been delighted with the quality and finish of their driveway, Ian and Jane reached out to us once again—this time with a vision to create a stylish and contemporary patio area where they could relax and entertain.
As their garden previously had no patio space, we were excited to design the layout from scratch. Working collaboratively with Ian and Jane, our team discussed their ideas, style preferences, and functional requirements. Together, we developed a bespoke plan that brought their vision to life while ensuring durability and practicality.
We began the installation by excavating the designated area and levelling the ground to prepare the base works. Once the foundation was set, we laid high-quality Limestone Paving using a white grout mix to achieve a clean and modern aesthetic. To enhance the overall finish, we added bullnosed edges, providing a smooth, rounded detail that gives the patio a seamless, premium look. The recessed lighting brings the patio to life at dusk adding a dramatic glow to this truly beautiful home.
The completed patio has transformed their back garden into a sophisticated outdoor living space, offering both beauty and long-lasting performance. It was a pleasure to work with Ian and Jane again, and we are proud to have delivered yet another stunning improvement to their home.
“Darren, Ben and the whole team at New Driveway Company worked really hard with us, to bring our garden patio project to life. Their attention to detail, superb craftsmanship on-site and great coordination with the electrical team, produced a patio that we are delighted with. We would wholeheartedly recommend the Company.”
